Clear cookies and other website data

To enhance your experience with Xena, it can be beneficial to periodically clear your cookies and other website data.

 

If you're experiencing any of the following issues, it might be a good idea to clear the stored data in your Chrome browser:

  • Users unable to log in
  • Reports that cannot be generated or downloaded
  • Searches that cannot be completed
  • General decrease in speed

 

Clearing browser data on a PC

Here are the steps to clear your browser data on a PC when using Chrome:

  1. Log out of Xena
  2. Press the keyboard shortcut: Ctrl+Shift+Delete
  3. In the top section of the window, select 'All time' as the time range
  4. Check the box for 'Cookies and other site data,' then click 'Clear data'
  5. Log back into Xena

Clearing browser data on a mobile device

To clear browser data on a mobile device when using Chrome and logged into Xena, follow these steps:

  1. Log out of Xena
  2. Tap the three dots to open the Chrome menu
  3. Select 'History,' then 'Clear browsing data'
  4. In the top section of the window, choose 'All time' as the time range
  5. Check the box for 'Cookies and site data,' then tap 'Clear browsing data'
  6. Log back in

 

 

Note: If you are still experiencing issues, it may be necessary to clear additional data. You can follow the same steps as described above, but also select to delete images and files stored in the cache.
