Export masterdata from Visual and import masterdata to Xena

If you want your master data from Visual to be imported into Xena, it is easy and straightforward.

Export master data fra Visual:

  1. In Visual administration, go to the current screen (Chart of Accounts, Customer, Vendor, and Item Catalog).
  2. Right-click anywhere on the screen and select "Export List to CSV File."

Export ONLY own items:
It is advisable to extract only the items you have created. You can do this by filtering on Price Supplier = 0, as these will be the items manually created in the system.

  1. Find an item where Price Supplier = zero.
  2. Click on this field, right-click, and select "Filter by Selected."

Import into Xena:

Now you have the files that you can use for importing into Xena.

For importing Finance, Customers, and Vendors to the archive, follow the instructions for Import to Archive.

For importing articles directly into the article catalog, follow the instructions for article Import.
