Editing in Xena

How to view, edit and save in Xena.

 

In Xena, there are two modes in a screen: the view mode and the edit mode. In the view mode, only the fields containing data are usually displayed to save space on the screen.

 

Editing

To edit data in Xena, you can switch to edit mode using one of the following methods:

1. Double-click on the field or box you want to edit.
2. Click on the pencil icon (edit icon) located at the top right of the box you want to edit.

Once you switch to edit mode, you can make changes to the data. When you are done editing, you can click on the eye icon to switch back to view mode.

 

It is important to note that Xena automatically saves the changes as you work. Therefore, there is no need for a separate "Save" button.

 

Edit mode / View mode:

The eye or pencil icon will appear depending on the current viewing mode:

• Eye icon: Edit mode. Click on the icon to switch to the view mode.
• Pencil icon: View mode. Click on the icon to switch to the edit mode.
